How we work
Booking
After calling us, we’ll give you the next available appointment in your area. We’re flexible with times, and can work around your appointments, call you at work, or be trusted with key access.
Locations
Our technicians travel from Paekakariki to Otaki daily.
Guarantee
All our repairs are guaranteed with a three month labour warranty and twelve month manufacturer’s warranty on parts. You’re also entitled to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act

AEG, Aqua, Ariston, Delonghi, Dishlex, Electrolux, Fisher & Paykel*, LG, Miele, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Parmco, Robinhood, Sharp, Simpson, Westinghouse, and Whirlpool.
*only Pekapeka, Te Horo and Otaki under warranty, rest of Kapiti outside warranty.
We also repair the following brands:
Atlas, Baumatic, Classique, Elba, Haier, Ilve, Kelvinator, Maytag, Shacklock, and Smeg.
About us
Appliance Rescue was founded in 2005 to keep up with the increasing demand for appliance repair. Brent Mitchell and Mary Hughes currently run the business (as of 2013) and continue to provide top quality service and repair on the Kapiti Coast.
Brent is responsible for on-road servicing and all technical aspects of the company, while Mary takes control of administration. The team also consists of two office staff, who take care of bookings and customer service, and two technicians.
